Housing Northwest, Inc. (HNW) was founded in 1969 by Portland State University students as a Not-for-Profit Corporation governed by a Board of Directors. In every aspect of its operation, HNW focuses its energies on providing a living environment in which residents can attain their goals. For our student population this means self development, academic success and life enrichment. For residents of modest means this means a stable, safe, affordable home and an opportunity to accumulate wealth to transition into home ownership. With nearly 40 years of property management experience, Housing Northwest, Inc. is the preeminent provider of housing for students in the Pacific Northwest. We have a proven track record of providing university faculty, staff and students with exceptional service.
